What I Bring to the Table
I have a strong moral compass, and I prize my integrity. I hope to work for an organization that will value that and appreciate the fact that I strive to be a man of my word. I know how to be persistent. Through experience, I have also learned that dealing with most people in an effective way requires genuine kindness and patience.
I have a strong mix of technical experience. I have implemented Fibrechannel SANs and Infiniband fabrics, as well as traditional routed and switched ethernet networks. Having this mix of skills has enabled me to lead several projects that required expertise in multiple disparate technologies, such as the Infiniband-over-WAN demonstration mentioned in my resume. I also have a strong linux background, in addition to several Cisco certifications. So far, my professional life has been a widely varying, but exhilarating, journey. I hope to use what I have learned to help my organization move forward.
What I'm Looking For
I hope to work for an organization that will have high expectations for my performance, that will support my desire to develop myself professionally, and that will give me an opportunity both to be mentored and to serve as a mentor to others. My goal is to provide significant value to my organization, so that the resources expended in helping me to develop myself professionally will be good investments to make.
